How To Do A Dumbbell Step Up

Written Instructions

  1. Stand facing a sturdy step or raised platform, with feet hip width apart. Have a dumbbell in each hand down by your sides, palms facing your body.
  2. Step your right leg up onto the step, using this leg only, push upwards so that your left leg is brought up onto the step.
  3. Once both feet are on the step, return your right leg back to the floor, followed by your left leg.
  4. Repeat the movement but starting with the left leg this time.
